Roughly 4,000 years before the Battle of Endor, a short conflict occurred which came to be known as the Mandalorian Wars. Mandalors, warriors which follow a strict code of honor, attacked the galactic Republic, looking for a good challenge... While the Jedi council had wanted to stay clear of the conflict, two young Jedi, Revan and Malak, defied the council and gathered many Jedi to help fight the war. The war ended quickly, the Mandalorians suffering a terrible loss. Revan and Malak were praised as heroes. They took their fleet beyond the outer rim of the galaxy, supposedly to hunt down the remaining Mandalorians. When they returned, they were changed... much for the worse. Both of them embraced the Dark Side and the ideals of the Sith, and their entire fleet was still with them and under their command. Some of the Republic's best generals even defected... You've been caught in the middle of it all. You've been recently recruited by the Republic and are aboard the Republic ship called the "Endar Spire" when you're caught in an attack by Malak. You rush to the escape pods and land on the planet Taris. But there's a problem... There's a planet-wide quarantine... and there are Sith crawling all over the place. ~Linus |
